Four applications were refused by planning officers this week.

In Compton, Michael Field's application for a two storey front, side and rear extensions; alterations and new roof over existing house at Stratton, Highways Road, was refused.

Mr Darrock's application for the change of use of agricultural land to residential garden land at the land adjacent to Windrush Cottage, Shepherds Lane, was refused.

In Winchester, Dominic Ormonroyd's application was refused to convert a 10 person sui-generis hostel into six new flats, at 29 City Road.

In Wonston, Mr Goddard had an application refused for two dwelling at the land adjacent to Station Drive.

All other applications were permitted.

In Badger Farm, Ian Blanchett can have a shed attached to a garage at 58 St Annes Close.

Mr and Mrs Proctor, in Littleton, had an application permitted for a single storey rear extension at 19 Fyfield Way.

Chengxuan Xing can have a first floor extension at 3 Beech Close, Oliver's Battery.

In Soberton, Mr and Mrs Earle had an application permitted for a single storey side and rear extensions with a green roof, landscaping and external works; alterations to existing parking arrangements and vehicular drive. This was at Holly House, Forester Road.

Mr and Mrs Dear's application was permitted for a storage container at Fernhurst, Lower Chase Road, Waltham Chase.

Andrew Wisniewski had an application permitted for an extension to the rear of the existing building at Lloyds Tsb Bank Plc, The Square.

In Winchester, Joshua Morris had an application permitted to convert an en-suite bathroom to family bathroom by creating access from landing through existing airing cupboard and sealing existing access from bedroom. Also to remove a modern partition wall and doorway between study and sitting room.

Aiden Murray's application was permitted for a subdivision of employment unit approved under application 20/02706/FUL to create two employment units at Gentian House Moorside Road.

Mr and Mrs Jones can have a single storey rear extension, roof and dormer extension and garden office at 41 Monks Road.

Mr Cole's application for a single storey rear extension, roof and dormer extension and garden office at 43 Monks Road was permitted.
